Unusual Blown Cone Shaped Bottle F P Adams & Co Boston MA Mass Ground Screw Top?

For sale here is an unusual, early, antique, blown in mold, tapered cone shaped, clear, appears to be ground threaded top style, bottle from Boston, Massachusetts. Unsure what this one contained. Some sort of chemical? The bottle is embossed F. P. ADAMS & CO. / U.S.A. / BOSTON, MASS. on the front. There is a small chip on the lip. Lots of staining and haze and some scratches and groundwear.
